![]() ![]() From the heart of the battlefield to the command center, you will guide your nation to glory and wage war. Although a Grand Strategy game set in the days of knights, swords and bows is a far cry from commanding tank divisions and ordering bombing. When you plotted the detected pixels (border pixels) on the shadergraph output texture plot them as full white so you can multiply that texture by your desired border colour before routing it to the output node.Īn issue I can see with this is that it would work for outlining all provinces, but if you want to outline only a single selected province you'd need an input on the shader graph for the target province's colour on the lookup texture and only render a border pixel if it's that target colour. Victory is at your fingertips Your ability to lead your nation is your supreme weapon, the strategy game Hearts of Iron IV lets you take command of any nation in World War II the most engaging conflict in world history. You'd need to figure out how to take that detected pixel and route it to the output texture, but I'm sure it can be done just don't know off the top of my head how. Since the shadergraph outputs a texture you should be able to detect a province boundary in the lookup texture because all neighbouring colours for any given pixel will only differ from that pixel if it's a pixel that is on a border between two provinces. No CK3 or HOI4 on Xbox, and I hope it stays that way to be honest. Gary Grisbys War in the West and War in the East are excellent. A WW2 game with a great AI is Strategic Command WW2: War in Europe. 10 Games Like Hearts of Iron IV (HOI4) Great Alternatives Hearts of Iron IV is an incredibly popular grand strategy games that allows players to flex their strategic muscles as they fight their own version of World War II. I also like Making History: The Second World War - its a TBS WW2 game. CK3 will be part of the Xbox ultimate game pass, not game pass, ultimate gives you access to pc games. Darkest Hour is the best of the Hoi series. And probably play at like speed 1 the whole time. You'd have two textures for the map, one that is your actual map texture (like the image you made in Inkarnate or drew by hand or whatever) and then you have a province texture that is made up of solid coloured blobs and each province has a unique colour. If it does get anything resembling a port to a console, it would basically be neutered of everything that makes it a hoi4. Maybe do something like after finding the border do a set pixel or something on a separate image (since the texture will probably be sitting just under the map so the Raycast can hit and detect and such without the texture being change midgame) and project that onto the map? ![]()
